Welcome to Patrick's Blog by the NV Movement

   Patrick's Journey Part I
I am excited to be here and have the ability to discuss Patrick's story in greater detail.  Recently, I became an advocate upon hearing the story of Patrick, as it was an eye opener regarding the extent of animal abuse cases occurring not only in the US, but nationwide. I have witnessed images and watched videos in the past month that have changed my life forever and will probably continue to haunt me for the rest of my life. Animal cruelty must be stopped and if everyone can focus on the fight for animal rights, we truly can make a difference by uniting and working together. . The Nevada Senate has already passed 3 bills this week strengthening legislation toward offenders.  The Assembly must approve the bills next for the changes to be implemented into Nevada law. I will be posting links shortly with email petitions to encourage the Assembly to approve these bills. This blog is a place for people to share ideas, updates, and events promoting animal cruelty prevention and is an open communication forum. I am anxious to meet new supporters and anticipating my current supporters on Facebook and Twitter will follow along as well. I look forward to any comments and feedback posted on my blog, website, and Facebook or Twitter.

Stay tuned for some current information regarding abuse cases in Nevada, useful links pertaining to the prevention of animal cruelty, and urgent petitions requiring signatures and sharing with your family and friends.

  3. We definitely must unite and work together to petition government regarding legislation revisions for animal abuse offenders and email/fax/write letters to judges and/or attorneys to stress the importance of applying the maximum penalty allowed within the state the abuse occurred toward animal abuse offenders.
